How to Build a 30-Day NCLEX Study Plan

A step-by-step roadmap to organizing your final month of preparation for maximum retention and confidence.

The final month before your NCLEX is critical. A structured plan prevents panic and ensures you cover all key domains of the test plan.

### Week 1: Foundations & Fundamentals

Focus on safe and effective care environments. Review delegation, prioritization, and ethical-legal issues. These high-yield topics appear frequently on the exam.

### Week 2: Medical-Surgical & Pathophysiology

Dive into the major body systems—Cardiac, Respiratory, and Endocrine. Focus on acute vs. chronic management and emergency interventions.

### Week 3: Specialty Areas

Spend this week on Maternal-Newborn, Pediatrics, and Mental Health. These areas often have specific "rules" (like milestones or fetal heart rate patterns) that you must know.

### Week 4: Practice Exams & Strategy

During the final week, stop studying new material. Instead, do full-length practice exams to build stamina. Review every rationale, especially for the ones you got wrong.

Rest the day before. You've got this!
